Sociologist and anthropologist, University Paris X, Nanterre. Master in Social Sciences, mention in Sociology, Ecole Normale Supérieure. PhD in Anthropology, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and University of Chile. Since 2006 his research focuses on the relationship between civil society and environment. She is currently researching on participation and climate change. She is also interested in ethnographic writing and qualitative methodologies.
She is an assistant professor at the Center for Economics and Social Policies of the Universidad Mayor in Chile, researcher of Line 4 of the Research Center for Integrated Disaster Risk Management and researcher in charge of the Fondecyt Initiation Project Nº11200545 and the ECOS-ANID Project C20H01. She is also co-investigator of Fondecyt Regular Nº1210858.
