Master in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and Social Anthropologist from the University of Chile. Both in Chile and in the United States, she has carried out her professional and academic activities, directing her efforts towards areas such as: Vulnerable populations, migration, gender studies and public policies.
Currently she works as Coordinator of the Social Practices Cluster, made up of the lines of research “Culture of Disasters and Risk Governance” (RL4) and “Communication and Emerging Technologies for Disaster Risk Reduction” (RL6) at CIGIDEN.
