Nikole Guerrero is a geographer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and did her thesis project on the “Assessment of global vulnerability by tsunami in the town of Las Cruces, commune of Tabo.” In addition, she did her professional practice at the Ministry of Public Works participating in the “Diagnosis on the process of pedestrian evacuation due to tsunami before the construction of the coastal edge in Cahuil lagoon, Pichilemu commune, for the elaboration of measures that reduce the risk levels”.
She was assistant to the Master’s Degree in Natural Risks, Resilience and Territorial Planning, and came to CIGIDEN as coordinator of Line 6 “Emerging technologies and communication for disaster risk reduction”.
