Master in Information Design at the University of Reading, UK, and Graphic Designer of the Catholic University of Valparaiso. He is an academic, School of Design, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and Board Member of the Design Network for Emergency Management [dnem.org]. He was director of the UC Advanced Design Master (MADA) and founder of the Department of Typographic Studies, now PUC Information Design. His professional and academic interests go in the line of information design, typography and visual communication.
He currently leads the Guemil project, icons for the emergency, is the founder of the digital typography studio FrescoType and leads some projects such as IndoSans, Digna and Antiu. In Chile, he has developed design for brands [Concha y Toro], organizations [Fundación Ciudadano Inteligente], institutional typography [Government of Chile] and for publications [La Cuarta].
Abroad, he has participated as a consultant in typography and information design in the United Kingdom [Network Rail], Germany [Saarland], Italy [Metro Roma] and Colombia [Transmilenio].
