Halime is 25 years old and she was born in Chad. Her life journey has been filled with exciting adventures alongside her family, but it was in South Africa that she truly felt a sense of belonging, as it’s where she completed her high school education. She then moved to France to study Math and Physics and then Switzerland to study Structural Engineering at EPFL. Along her4 academic journey, she unexpectedly found herself captivated by seismic studies, leading me to an exciting opportunity in Chile. Under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Juan Carlos de la Llera, she’s currently dedicating her efforts to her Master’s thesis on the analysis of the effects of higher modes on isolated structures.
