Researcher

Doctor in Electrical Engineering from the University of California in Los Angeles, United States, Master in Engineering Sciences, with a specialization in Automatic Control applied to Biomedical Engineering and Industrial Engineer with a minor in electricity from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Since 2005, he has been a full-time academic in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Catholic University, where he is currently an associate professor.
He is an expert in wireless communications, a discipline in which he currently conducts research and development in wireless sensor networks, highlighting applications in flow forecasting for hydroelectric generation and monitoring of natural hazards.
