Roberto Benavente Bravo
Roberto is a postdoctoral researcher on the Surface Water Process Threats and PhD in Earth Sciences line at Australian National University. His research focuses on rapid modeling of the seismic source in the context of emergency response. In this line, he has also developed research on Bayesian inference into the finite failure problem. The connection between seismic source uncertainty and the tsunami generated in subduction earthquakes is currently under investigation.
