Raúl Flores
PhD in Civil Engineering, University of Washington (Seattle, USA). Master in Civil Engineering Sciences (UFTSM, Chile). He is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Works at the Universidad Técnica Santa María.
Among its research lines is the study of hydrodynamic processes, transport of sediments and morphologies in coastal areas, particularly in areas influenced by freshwater discharges from rivers, such as estuaries, wetlands and feathers. Its area of interest also covers coastal dynamics related to the transformation and breakage of the swell, and processes of exchange of material in deeper waters with a limit on the continental shelf.
