PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri – Columbia and psychologist at the University of Chile. Assistant professor at the School of Psychology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, his research experience includes classification, epidemiology, background, course and consequences of substance use disorders and personality disorders.
Training in quantitative methodology and management of statistical techniques such as structural equation models, multilevel models, and cluster analysis. His interest in clinical practice includes knowledge derived from research, the treatment of morbid disorders (especially for the use of substances and personality disorders), and the innovation and dissemination of knowledge in psychotherapy. Training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, motivational interview and family therapy.
