Hernán Santa María
PuC Civil Engineer, Ph.D. of the University of Texas, Austin. He works in the experimental research of structural elements in the face of seismic loads. You have used FRP to reinforce or repair masonry walls before cyclic cutting. It has used homogenization to determine efficient, experimentally validated strut-tensioner models.
He currently participates in CIGIDEN researching models of seismic exposure and seismic vulnerability of buildings and bridges, and at the UC Center for Wood Innovation in the design and construction of medium-height wooden buildings.
