Rodrigo Ramírez
MA Information Design, University of Reading, UK, Graphic Designer, PUCV Chile. Doctoral Student, UC Chile Faculty of Communications. Professor, UC Chile School of Design. He was director of the School of Design and the Master in Advanced Design, UC. His research combine visual communication, information design and risk management.
He currently leads the Guemil icons for emergencies initiative [guemil.info], which has received various national and international awards. He is a Board Member of the Design Network for Emergency Management [dnem.org] and co-founder of Design for Emergency, a joint research project between the universities of Notre Dame and UC Chile.
